“It was the year that we learned to slow. Where the rains brought us immediacy and presence, and some of the most special moments came by foot across the playa, bathing in that hazy sunset glow.”
What a gift that the rains created. Forcing us to walk to art, or even all the way across the city. It made us more patient, and kind, as we stopped and said hi to everyone, with curious smiles.
What i love about this photo the most is the sense of peace and calm that it evokes. Burners walking across the playa - with friends, or just on a solo adventure - others on slow bike rides, and even more gathering around pieces of art in the distance. Each taking their time to enjoy the glowing sky, surrounded by every sensory stimulation and endless option for adventure.
*Proceeds of this burning man piece will be donated to an art project, to bring more magic to our beloved playa. I’ll send out details once the art piece has been chosen, so you can visit the art piece in person, or through photos <3

Getting a frame is recommended. A general rule of thumb for mat frames (white border) is to ‘size up’ a few inches from the print dimensions. E.g.:

Frame size with matting: 11×14in, 12×14in
Print Size: 16x24in
Frame size with matting: 20 x 28, 24 x 32
