Shooting from distance, with a smile on my face, as three kids meet for a quick lunch break - in a village backstreet on the island of Zanzibar, Tanzania.
It reminded me of a time back as a 90’s baby. Before phones and instant technology, where weekend days started by taking the bike out, exploring the neighborhood, and coming back just before dark - without a singe worry in the world.
I especially love all the different visual textures in this frame:
- A leafy oasis, lined with Heineken-bottle decorations, providing shade from a dusty midday heat
- Barefoot boy with a sippy cup rolling up on a pink bike
- And a friend, old beyond his years, not paying attention and lost in his own daydream

Getting a frame is recommended. A general rule of thumb for mat frames (white border) is to ‘size up’ a few inches from the print dimensions. E.g.:
